Founder, Director of Peformance
Rob Dombrowski
As one of the most sought-after and acclaimed sports performance coaches in the area, and Sacred Heart University’s Director of Hockey Performance, Rob implements the same methods he used while training athletes from the NHL, AHL, NFL, MLB, MLL and various European teams to advance collegiate, high school and youth athletes.
Prior to founding ASAP, Dombrowski served as the Director of Performance at Prentiss Hockey Performance, one of the leading sports performance facilities in the country. During his nine-year tenure, he oversaw the physical development and performance testing of professional, collegiate and elite youth athletes.
Dombrowski is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a Functional Range Assessment and Functional Range Conditioning practitioner, specializing in enhancing movement capability, mobility development and injury reduction.
Dombrowski received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in 2013. He resides in Fairfield with his wife, Jessica, and their three daughters.

Founder
Mark Arcobello
Mark is a native of Milford CT and spent three years playing at Fairfield Prep before graduating from Salisbury School in 2006. After four years at Yale, where he achieved All-Ivy, All-ECAC, and All-American honors, he went on to play 139 games in the NHL as an undrafted free agent for five different teams. He played alongside and learned from some of the best players in the world including Sidney Crosby, Roman Josi, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Shane Doan. He won a Bronze Medal at the 2015 World Championships and was again a member of Team USA in the 2018 Olympic games in Pyeongchang.
Arcobello has played over 900 total pro games throughout North America and Europe. He has 237 AHL games (220 points) and over 462 games (426 points) in the Swiss NLA. He is currently playing in his 15th pro season for HC Lugano in the top league in Switzerland. Arcobello and wife, Mollie, have 3 young boys.

Founder
Brian O'Neill
Brian graduated from Yale University as the Mallory Award winner, given to the school’s top male athlete. Throughout his four years at Yale, Brian was named the Ivy League Player of the Year, All-ECAC, and an All-American. He currently ranks second all-time at Yale with 163 points.
O'Neill went on to sign an NHL contract with the LA Kings, where he was named the AHL MVP and went on to win the Calder Cup. In 2015, he made his NHL debut with the New Jersey Devils prior to signing a contract in the KHL with the Finnish club, Jokerit. During his six years at Jokerit, O'neill was named to the US Men's Olympic Team in 2018 and 2022. He ranks third all-time in KHL scoring for US-born players. After the Ukraine invasion, O’Neill terminated his contract and signed a two-year contract with EV Zug in Switzerland's top league. He enters his 14th professional season playing for Lulea hockey club in Sweden.
O'Neill's playing experience in North America and Europe has given him a unique skill set for player development. O'Neill and wife, Anniina, have one boy.
